Christ is born and made human
To save the people
Who were lost and had fallen
through the First Parents.

Born is Christ to obtain our sins,
which he separated from his servants;
for they were fallen and not served
but led astray and unmade
by their fallen mentor.

The fresh lily, white and red,
Is born into this world to bring counsel
So that we may flee the great abyss
He takes the suffering of a horrible death
So that for the first time such a great joy
Has become a burden for us.

In Bethlehem is born the blessed Lord
Of a pure virgin: announced and predicted
By the scriptures, mediator and redeemer
Direct and true, King of great peace
Truly he has brought us our desires.
